FOG LIGHTS

Conventional lights throw a broad beam containing both vertical and horizontal light. Unfortunatally, the vertical light can project above the hood of the vehicle, which will illuminate any particals of rain, snow, dust, etc. that may be in front of the vehicle. When these particals are illuminated, a dangerous glare is created that dramatically reduces seeing ability by reflecting back into the driver's eyes. The effectiveness of KC Fog Lights comes from the shape of the beam pattern which is vey wide, but only a couple of feet high. This pattern lights the pathway close to the ground but does not light the airbourne particles that are in the drivers line of sight (called refracted light).
